This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Love ur work, reminds me of Bryce Worlds. What do you use to do ur digital craft? I'm trying to combine actual (real) skylines from various cities into some conglomerate that I can then (somehow) make feel alien, sort of to complement/go with my "alien desert." I'm using Photoshop and it's so limited. I might have to dig out my Bryce Worlds disks. It's been at least 6yrs and 3 computers ago that I last used it!! I'm a writer of SciFi thrillers and doing my own covers.
( have no clue at all how to insert a link on DA as this is my very first comment on the site even though it's my second account; I never commented with the first acct
I want the skyline either for the back of that book or for the cover of a different book in the same series. It's like a throwback / pulp fiction feel like John Carter of Mars mixed with a futuristic city like Bradbury's Martian Chronicles. But it's not Mars *LOL* Just another red planet. There are so many of them, you know? haha
Thanks very much for the support. I mainly used Vue and Photoshop with a bit of 3D Studio Max. You should definitely look into trying out Vue, I think it's much more powerful than Bryce and it would work well for for what you're aiming for.
3D Studio Max, should'a known. I haven't tried Vue but feel comfortable in Photoshop. I'm just not a graphics designer or illustrator by trade--I paint with words, you know?
You have DEFINITELY given me some inspiration! And thanks for the cover feedback. I've let it sit for a week+ so now I definitely know I want to change the foreground. I don't like the reddish-purple (obviously cloned) foreground and will convert it to some kind of sandy "barren wasteland" desert style open plains. Just no tumbleweeds since it's NOT Earth *g* I had so many comments on other sites from people wanting the sky to look more blue instead of less blue; they just didn't get it is NOT Earth. I clearly need a more alien feel to it.
