I was having trouble finding a suitable stock photo to do my usual photo-manipulations, so I decided to make my own landscape in Vue. This is my first time modeling in Vue, I sort of know how to use it now but theres still a lot more to learn; it's a really cool program.
Other than most of the sky and some overall color corrections/effects, everything is in 3D. Hope you like it
Here are some details: Vue 5 Infinite and Photoshop CS3 4 hour modeling time in Vue 3 hours post processing in Photoshop 3.5 hour render time at 1440x1920 resolution 2 ecosystems / 1,750,568,526 polygons
wow... that is one nice piece of work! I love what you've done with the colors, aspecially when it comes to the tree, and the red flowers at the lower part of the piece.
I would consider though if the people in the picture are necessary? Maybe thats a taste-thing, but I would love to see a version without them maybe?
Holy F'n CRRRRAPPP
yeah this is totally awesome. So you didn't use any stock this time? all of that is ORIGINALLY A Patrick picture? wow man. that is insane.
its rather a gorgeous landscape too - so good job there. I like the flowers that go down the cliff, and the little hut thing by the water, and the sky looks sweet too. How the heck did you create that man.. wow.
i like the bordered rounded edges thing. its a nice 'photo finishing' effect ...
and i disagree with toop on the font.. i think the font suits the beauty of the picture.
